Ours to arrange, yours to enjoy…
The Ilkeston Food Fair is quietly growing into something rather special, following on from the fabulous public response to the first food fair in 2014, we felt we had to do it again and again! It felt like we had had the biggest and best party of our lives!
Following a life changing event in their lives, the death of a very dear friend prompted promoters Carol and Gordon Pringle to capitalise on the crowds that attend the fairs to try and raise money for worthwhile causes and help local community groups, including our local Scouts and Guides raise funds for their organisations.Their nominated charity remains the Brain Tumour Charity, in memory of a friend taken suddenly and far too soon
The Ilkeston Food Fair proudly holds two fairs a year at the Ilkeston Rugby Club, one in May and one in October.
Our artisan food, drink and craft markets showcase food from all corners of the world, as well as real ale, we have local breweries, a Prosecco Bar, Pink Gin, pies, pickles and preserves and even something to treat your dog, together with live entertainment, bouncy castles and pony rides, all guarantee a fun filled day out for all the family.
Following the success of our local Ilkeston events, we are now starting to expand into the surrounding towns.
Our next event is on 12th August at the Party in the Park, Broadgate Park, High Road, Beeston, NG9 2GG.
